The 5th Buffalo Soft Finish Chili Bowl offers a more expressive take on the original design.

Finished with lighter glaze coverage, this version allows more of the stoneware beneath to show through, giving each bowl a softer, more organic appearance. Hand-painted brushstrokes remain visible beneath the glaze, adding depth, movement, and subtle texture that highlight the work of the maker.

The result is a bowl with a distinctly handcrafted character—one where the process is just as visible as the finished piece. If you appreciate pottery that proudly wears the marks of the artist's hand, this finish was made with you in mind.

Perfect for chili, soups, pasta, oatmeal, salads, or ice cream, each bowl is wheel-thrown, glazed, and kiln-fired by hand in my Texas studio. No two will ever be exactly alike, and that's exactly the point.
